Assignment Details
Design game assets in Blender and then bring them into Unity or other game engines and make them work. This requires knowledge of both Blender and the game engine. Projects can include:
- Static assets. Create and import static game objects that the game player has little interaction with, like background objects. These can include objects such as trees, rocks, buildings, tables, and chairs. Make sure to import not only the mesh but also the materials as well. Start with simple materials and then move up to procedural materials.
- Animations
- Rigs
- Rig with Blender animation brought into Unity
- Animation Rigging in Unity. Bring a rig in from Blender and have Unity control the rig during gameplay.
