Students will create a simple animation of a landscape.

Assignment Details
Draw a landscape scene and animate various parts of the landscape. This assignment can be done as a 2-week project if you are creating simple drawings or 4+ weeks if you are creating complex drawings.
Your landscape drawing needs the following parts.
- A background that does not change. Background objects can be in a single layer or multiple layers.
- Objects that will animate
- At least 4 objects that are animated.
- Every object that animates needs to be in it’s own layer.
- The landscape can be made of very simple drawings (single color objects) or complex drawings (multi-color objects with shading).
Your animation needs the following.
- At least 4 objects animating.
- The animation lasts at least 60 frames or 4 seconds.
- At least one motion tween
- Motion tweens are used to move objects in the animation.
- Motion tweens include changes to translation, rotation, scale and simple color tint changes.
- Motion tweens can be used to make simple movements of clouds, birds, cars, airplanes, etc.
- At least one shape tween
- Shape tweens are used when objects need to change shape or appearance.
- Shape tweens include changes in shape and complex color changes (gradients).
- Shape tweens examples would be when clouds need to change shape when they more, birds need to flap their wings, or grass needs to sway in the wind.
