Students will demonstrate knowledge of 3D modeling software interface by creating and manipulating simple mesh objects in Blender.

Beginner Meshes

Goals

Students will learn how to create simple meshes in Blender and manipulate them in 3D space.

  • Transform mesh objects (move, scale, rotate, etc).

Assignment Details

Create a scene or single complex object containing at least 20 different simple primitive meshes (shapes). Simple primitives meshes are planes, cubes, spheres, circles, cylinders, etc. An example of a scene would be a room with chairs, a couch, and a table. An example of a complex object would be a Christmas tree with branches, ornaments, and a star on top
